I actually took these photos to sell the coat she's wearing on ebay...but she is so beautiful, I had to post them too. Can't believe she is nineteen, I remember her being born! My sweet little baby cousin! Oh, I am OLD!
A single, rural mama's ramblings about parenting boys, finding herself (oh brother), struggle and joy, juggling more jobs than you can shake a stick at, creativity as we attempt to not only survive but somehow live a fulfilling and rich life below the poverty line, humor as a coping mechanism when you'd be a basket case otherwise, and all the beauty that IS.
Well, the five family Christmas gatherings are over, and we are wondering if our house can actually absorb the gifts...I haven't seen our dining room table or the living room rug in about a week, hopefully they are still under there somewhere! It was wonderful seeing everyone, and the holiday was nice and mellow, even considering the babies. We were half expecting tired, overstimulated-kid misery. And the weather cooperated perfectly for all our driving while still giving us plenty of snow for sledding, and a beautiful white Christmas!
