Well, my photography studio has a new life! Hopefully someday it will be used for it's original purpose again, but for now, it makes a darn good dance space for my group.

A single, rural mama's ramblings about parenting boys, finding herself (oh brother), struggle and joy, juggling more jobs than you can shake a stick at, creativity as we attempt to not only survive but somehow live a fulfilling and rich life below the poverty line, humor as a coping mechanism when you'd be a basket case otherwise, and all the beauty that IS.

Whoops, a few of these have already been posted, I wasn't sure where I left off last time!

I'm sick of remembering to take a picture of what I'm wearing. Plus, what I wear in the summer is pretty boring. Tank, shorts or skirt, no shoes. And it seemed like I had more time on my hands when it was winter. So....You all won't get to see goofy pictures of my goofy outfits until it gets cold again!
OK, family and friends....our friends Chuck and Wren run/own a camp in Franconia and in exchange for some help we are giving them, we will have use of the camp for a weekend (we THINK August 29-31) to have a giant 10 year anniversary party! Our actual wedding date was June 27th, but we are too busy to do anything right now...plus the camp will be full of children until the end of the summer. So, everybody, pencil it in! There are cabins enough for over 60 people and we will do lots of dorky camp activities (including a log-rolling competition in the pond!!! Hee hee!) We'll send out actual invitations in the next few weeks after we double check the date, but I just wanted to give you all a heads up! We hope you can come!
